We are a group of occupational therapists who share a passion for serving the needs of persons whose differing cognitive abilities compromise participation in valued activities and occupations. We formed the ACLS and LACLS Committee as a non-profit organization to further this passion and our mission to support compassionate care by the community of international healthcare professionals who serve clients, their families and caregivers.

​Dementia Care Specialists (DCS) at Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) is a team of passionate professionals who want to make a positive impact in preparing and empowering a dementia capable workforce. Together with our partners, this team strives to create a Dementia Capable Society that enables those living with dementia, their loved ones, and caregivers to thrive!

Claudia Allen started ACDMweb in 2014 in order to make her research and tools readily available to occupational therapists around the world at a reasonable cost.

The purpose of ACDMweb is to continue the legacy of Claudia Allen to keep people with a cognitive disability happily occupied.
